ABOUT THE AUTHOR & BUSINESS OWNER

Bre Krahn is a self-published author from Winnipeg, Manitoba.

A Walk in the Park is Bre’s second published children’s picture book.

Bre loves to write high fantasy but enjoys writing kids books as well. She has been writing stories since elementary school and decided to pursue her passion in 2021 with the release of Honest Holly (Winner of the RW Award, 2023). This Canadian born author has always called Winnipeg home; however, she loves to travel and explore. So far, her favorite place in Canada is Banff and loved her trip to Italy.

When Bre is not writing, she is likely working out, playing video games with her boyfriend at home, cuddling her cat, Jimmy, hanging out with her friends and family, or working as a rehabilitation assistant at a hospital.

BK Ink Company is a Winnipeg local business founded in 2021.

Bre Krahn, the founder and owner of BK Ink, is an independently published children’s book author and designs digital art merchandise.

A Walk in the Park is a mindfulness book, written as a guided visualization exercise. The goal of this book is for the reader to learn how to focus on breathing and their body’s five senses.

Journey through a park and notice the sights, sounds, tastes, and smells around you and how they feel to touch.

Though written for kids, A Walk in the Park can also be a mindfulness tool for teenagers and adults.

Mindfulness can help improve both physical and mental health; it is important to support everyone who needs time to focus on the present moment.

GREAT FOR BEDTIME! This lovely picture book takes you on a mindfulness adventure using your five senses with guided visualization techniques. A must read for anyone needing a calm moment in their busy day!”

-Monique Durand Currie, author of Under the Apple Tree & What Did Emmett Do Today?
